Yoga really neccessary?

So I've been doing p90x for about a month and a half and I'm loving it. It's a fabulous workout. The only thing I hate is yoga days. I despise yoga. Yoga literally makes me angry. Don't get me wrong, I love the flexibility that comes with yoga, but I struggle to get through the actual workout. Today I only make it 20 minutes before I quit.
So I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on getting through it or another suggestion for what to do on yoga days? I considered looking into pilates, but I don't know if that would be so similar that it would make me angry as well. I also considered some sort of positive reinforcement. You know "If you complete your yoga every week until you finish p90x, then you get that coach bag you want", but more than likely I'd give in and do whatever it was anyway. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Im totally impatient when it comes to yoga, but I find that if I do a light cardio workout ( usually yoga is my rest day ) before the yoga I enjoy it a whole lot more, because my muscles feel a lot more willing to stretch and Im actually happy to relax.0

Is there any specific reason you hate it?0

Do CardioX instead - it has a little Yoga in it. I have down P90X twice now and I think over those two times I have done or attempted yoga 3 times.0

My husband does not like Yoga either so he just does the Stretch DVD on his Yoga days since it's shorter.0

I am going to start the P90X soon and was also wondering about the yoga part. The reason I wouldn't want to do it is because it will irritate my sciatic nerve from all the stretching.0 -
I'm not sure why I hate it so much. Maybe I'm impatient about it? The balance postures at the end, I don't mind so much. I enjoy those, but the begin with the vinyasas drive me up the wall!
I still want to be flexible, so maybe I'll do the x-stretch instead, but I'm worried about losing the flexibility that I already have.0 -
LOL... I've been doing P90X going on 6 months now, and I started out hating yoga too. I preferred the intense routines like Kenpo, not yawny boring yoga... but that changed. I only do yoga when it's dark out and when I'm calm and relaxed. I set the mood with a candle and I kick the dogs out of my room so I can just chill. I only do the first 48 minutes because I couldn't care less about the poses, but I like how yoga stretchs me out. But I really have to be in the mood for it.0
