NEW TO FITNESS PAL

HELLO EVERYONE. I STARTED THE 17 DAY DIET 55 DAYS AGO. I HAVE LOST BETWEEN 17 AND 19 LBS.... IT FLUCTUATES. I WALK ON THE TREADMILL USUALLY 30 MINUTES A DAY. HOWEVER, ON TUESDAY I WALKED ON THE TREADMILL AND RESTED ABOUT 5 MINUTES AND THEN TOOK A WALK WITH MY DAUGHTER AND GRANDKIDS... APPROX. 1.2 MILES. MY BACK WAS KILLING ME BEFORE WE EVEN GOT HALFWAY TO OUR DESTINATION. I DON'T KNOW WHY I CAN WALK ON THE TREADMILL AND MY BACK DOESN'T HURT BUT IF I TRY TO WALK OUTSIDE MY BACK KILLS ME. I AM TOTALLY DISCOURAGED RIGHT NOW BECAUSE I NEED TO LOSE 80 MORE POUNDS AND IT AIN'T HAPPENING FAST! I WILL DEFINETLY GET BACK ON THE TREADMILL TOMORROW. I CANNOT GIVE UP! I HATE BEING FAT! I WANT TO BE A TRIM GRANDMA TO MY 3 GRANDCHILDREN. I AM 56 YEARS OLD AND I DON'T WANT TO DIE FAT!! ANYWAY... PLEASE PRAY THAT I CAN CONTINUE ON THIS LIFESTYLE CHANGE I AM TRYING TO MAKE OF EATING HEALTHY AND EXERCISING AT LEAST 6 DAYS A WEEK. MY SWEET LITTLE SISTER (SHE'S 47) TOLD ME ABOUT FITNESS PAL AND I THOUGHT MAYBE IT WOULD HELP ME! THANKS FOR READING MY POST! GOD BLESS US ALL WHO ARE TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT!!!

    good luck. sounds like your doing the right thing. this site is great because when you have to write down what you eat....then you try to keep at your goal of calories....its works as long as you do it everyday, and we are all in the same boat so good luck and we can all be skinny together :blushing:
