So I put lotion on my legs and hands everyday- then sometimes I feel like I want to put lotion everywhere. Do our breasts count in that? Serious answers only!

OH MY GOSH YES!
I am using shea and coco butter lotion specifically to help fade stretch marks (genetics plus big baby then TWINS), and so I put it EVERY where those marks seem to be...I think I can see a difference! Every time after I shower, when my skin is most receptive to it0 -
yes the girls need lotion too... specially in the cold weather... but then again.. skin tends to dry in hot weather too0
-
of course!!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely!!! :bigsmile:0

PWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! OMG..okay, so sending you a friend rqst! LOL
And on the more serious note, esp. since someone said they notice a diff. - I have SUPER UBER sensitive skin and cannot use lotion on my legs... at all. Even if I haven't shaved for a month. It burns. :-( BUT I want the supple silky.... and I HATE baby oil. It feels gross, not good.
So any for real suggestions along with the funny ones will be much applauded! and laughed at. :laugh:0 -

I put lotion on everything, everyday. When I get out of the shower I use a sesame body oil, and then body lotion (coco butter) once the oil is absorbed. I love the feeling of my skin like this!!0

Try putting a cup of oatmeal in a shallow bath and lightly scrubbing your legs. This will make your skin soft.0 -
Sometimes. I think I use less lotion then your average person though......I wonder if that is a bad thing?0
-
@ Rockin - I use Neutragena's Seasame Oil, it is really light and hypoallergenic. That might work for you. The oatmeal is a good idea too.0

Put it everywhere! Definitely on the laydeez, and anywhere else you can reach. Not the face, though, get some different (thinner) cream for that.
I bought some raw cocoa butter off t'internet. It's lovely. Comes in a big lump, completely unprocessed. Smells exactly like chocolate, looks exactly like chocolate, feels like you're melting chocolate onto your skin when you apply it. The label said "food grade", so I had to try some, against the advice of my mate who works for Mars. Tastes exactly like... lard. Don't get tempted and eat it! Bloody horrible!0 -

does it make you smell like chocolate?
to the OP - I lotion everything. I don't think there's a right way or wrong way. Just put it where it feels good. If it doesn't work, then you know not to do it again.0 -
I agree that most lotion can be applied anywhere, however I caution using scented lotions anywhere near natural or unnatural openings to your body, inculding mucous membranes.
Some of those products can cause irritation and discomfort or worse. Cellulitis is not a fun situation.0 -
Lotion is good for all of your skin!0

Cetaphil cream for the legs, lotion for the face. Very mild and doesn't make my rosacea react, or irritate freshly shaved areas.0 -
I use baby oil everywhere, every day. Except the face. A good moisturizer for the face and neck is a must.0

My cookies get lotioned up every damn day morning and night..So yes soften them often0

I never used to lotion my ladies until after having babies. When breastfeeding my um, yeah those, would get really dry. I started using breastfeeding cream on them and noticed how nice they felt. So after I stopped breastfeeding my boys I started using nsceted hypoallergenic lotion on them and they look great! I always heard such horror stories of your boobs going flat and looking like hell after breastfeeding. I feed them boys for over a year and a half each (so three 3 of breastfeeding) and they look as good if not better than they did before babies!0
