Need Motivation

I'm brand new to this site but very familiar with weight loss. Right now I am battling to keep myself out of the jelly beans...Easter and the candy associated with it are a huge challenge for me...I know what to do and how to do it healthily but am better a t giving advice and encouragement to others than putting it to use for myself :sad:

Yea I know it is really hard, especially with easter candy. But none of that tastes as good as you are going to feel! take a few minutes every day and picture yourself as you want to be. It's gonna be hard, it's like trying to kick a drug habit, except you have to eat to live so embrace the fact that you can have good food, and find the foods you'll fall back on to get through your cravings, mine are popsicles. There is always room in my calorie budget for a popsicle, and you can't eat it fast because it's so cold! Good Luck on your Journey.0

Welcome!! I too have a huge sweet tooth! Passing up chocolate, whether it be cake, ice cream, candy bar...ect , is very hard for me. I just have to make myself do it. But the feeling I get when I step on the scale and the number is a bit lower helps me to keep things in perspective. I still eat chocolate, but maybe only a couple squares off of a Hershey bar. That way I don't feel deprived. I also tell myself that if I eat something that is a temptation to me, I will have to exercise it off. Sometimes that's enough in itself not to eat it!!
YOU can do it!! I know you can! Like you said, you know how to do it....just put your knowledge to work!!!
