Weight Plateau, Only 8 lbs Away from Goal!

I have hit a weight plateau. I have changed in about 3 weeks. I am nervous to do anything different or start exercising more, because of the necessity of then eating more.
What have you found helped you through a plateau? What did you do differently? Did it work?
Also, I am soooooo close to my goal. Any strategy when getting so close?

Don't give up!! Try switching something up.. maybe a different kind of exercize, try a low carb high protein diet????0

I am totally with you...I have lost nothing in 3 weeks and I'm doing what I need to be doing! Frustrating!
And to top it all off I was rear ended yesterday and am having neck and back pain (seeing my Dr this morning...)
I know it could be worse and I need to stay positive but I would love to hear any tips people have about busting through a plateau!

I was stuck for 3 weeks as well. I just got out of it. Bumped up my calories fron 1200 to 1500. I eat 1500-1600 a day, exvercisd or not. I burn 300-400 calories 5 times a week0

I have heard that uping calories helps, but I am concerned of then gaining. So greeneyed84, you didn't change your workouts or anything, but just uped your calories?0

Oh no! I checked the dates and the plateau has been for 2 months! Oh no! AND now I am gaining! I've gone up 2 pounds. Has this happened to anyone before??? What did you do??0

Nope, i'm working out a bit less intense. I used to burn between 700-1000 calories a workout.0 -
What is your weekly weight loss set to?
What would your BMI be at your goal weight?0 -
I have it set for .7 lb per week. My BMI at goal weight would be at about 20.0
