I made a chicken dinner tonight and switched it up a bit :) It was really good and made me full surprisingly! Another good thing is that this meal is very low fat and has about 25 grams of protein in it!

- 4oz baked boneless skinless chicken breast with mrs dash no sodium original and chicken blend seasonings
- Whole grain brown rice (1/2 cup dry) im not sure how much it measured after its cooked but its a good amt
- 1/2 cup cooked frozen okra (not breaded)
- 1/2 cup green beans
- sauteed mushrooms and sliced bell peppers about a handful total, just enough to smother chicken
TIP: If you arent too worried about sodium, a good sauce to put on the rice is Tobasco soy sauce, its great!
NOTE: I bake my chicken for about 45 minutes at 350 degrees. It comes out juicy and perfect!

Do you brown the chicken first or just toss everything into a casserole dish and bake? Do you just cook the rice in water?

I bake the chicken by itself. While its baking I cook everything else on the stove separate. Boil rice in water, boil okra in water, warm veggies, and saute mushrooms and peppers. When everything is done I set it separate on the plate but i smother the chicken with the sauteed mushrooms and peppers. You can eat it however you like, but I like all my stuff separate lol.
