Why all the D&D advertisements? The Big N' Toasty? Really? I know this site is free and they make money off of advertisements, but come on. We are trying to eat healthy and lose some weight. I liken it to a Quit Smoking support group with Malboro cigarettes being advertised. Too tempting.

Ad's are aimed towards what you look at on your computer, scary but true. Did you recently look up calorie count for DD? Or maybe just calorie count for something similar to DD?

The adds are supplied by google and they deliver what they think you want to see. Nothing to do with this website
  • Yes its directly associated with what you search for in your food database or add into your diary. For instance I add dunkin donuts coffee to my diary and get the big and tasty ads as well. I added Cabot sharp cheddar snacks, now I've had those adds as well.

A free site like this will sell SOME information (such as our food input) to these companies. Then they pay a solid amount to have the ads catered...this is how this site basically remains free. We'd probably be paying if ads were removed completely.

I block all advertising with Adblock plus. It's a free downloadable app that removes all the annoying ads in every site not just here.

The egg white ham wake up wrap is awesome! Only about 160 calories. 99 cents to boot!
