Back fat?

I just started MFP in the past week, and already lost 2 pounds.
One of my biggest insecurities is my back, more specifically, the places underneath my bra line. I have a small roll there that I'd really LOVE to get rid of. I think that a toned back is sexy, and I'd love to achieve that for myself.
Does anyone out there know any ways to combat back fat, and firm it?

I'd also love to know if anyone had suggestions
Never hurts to tone up that area! 0 -
go to a gym and join a body pump class!
weights so wonders for toning everywhere! 0 -
Row machine or any workout that you can put your hands in front of you and pull to your chest. Try and keep your elbows in and hold close to chest for 1 second .0

I know exactly what you're talking about! I love wearing strapless or halter tops so a sexy back is a great thing to have! I had horrible back fat when I started on MFP and I did Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred. It really toned up my back! I actually took some pics, I always take a back pic cuz I'm always curious...so, 30 day shred, highly recommended!

I also did her 30 day slimdown. It's a bit more tough since it's got the Shred and two of her dvds as well but it really did shed fat, especially on my back.
Good luck!0 -
I've been using the rowing machine, doing some chin-ups, and back extensions... I think all of those together have really helped tone my back all over.0

Seriously, when you lose more weight it will eventually go away. My back fat and my upper back fat hump disappeared almost entirely by the time I lost most of the weight I've lost so far. Don't lose heart, it will disappear before you know it.0

Lateral raises are really helpful. You can find that weight machine at every gym basically. Do 3 sets of 20 at the highest weight you can handle0

Push ups. Assisted or on your toes. Push ups will do amazing things for your overall tone and back. The reality is you can't really target one area to lose from so keep going on your goals and fitness plan and you'll lose the back chubs
