Yo-Yo'ing the same 2 lbs past five weeks - beyond frustrated
Sorry to vent. Just getting really frustrated since I have put so much time into working out and eating right. I know this is a common vent, was just hoping for some advice/encouragement so I can keep going....
Thank you in advance for any assistance!
(I am 1200 calories and do eat my excercise calories.)

Plateaus happen from time to time. Try throwing in an extra cork into something. Either diet or exercise. Keep motivated and dedicated and you'll pull through. Good luck! You're doing good!0

I understand I am doing the same thing for the last 3 weeks. I just keep going between 149 and 145. I can not seem to drop below that 145 point for the life of me.0

Ok... My experience was... i lost like 4-5kg then I hit the same thing... A HUGE WALL.... for MONTHS.... So i "played" around with my calorie intake (upping it), from "lose 2lb a week" to "lose 1.5lb a week" then to "lose 1lb a week" and then went to "lose 0.5lb a week"...... NOTHING WOULD WORK!!!! I was frustrated and desperate and almost ready to throw the towel in so to speak..... so i tried "Maintenance" Calories... after which i started losing... each person is different though...
So try and change your cal intake around... try each one for a few weeks to let your body become accustomed to it... then see what yours reacts to.
My doctor tried to restrict me to 1000 cals a day... which i basically laughed off....

Don't forget that if you've started exercising more frequently and really weren't before, you could simply be gaining muscle and losing fat. A trainer at the Y told me that it's good to look at your measurements and your body fat too, because sometimes the weight can be deceiving. If you've been doing well with eating and exercising for 5 weeks in a row, I call that winning. Healthy lifestyle change winning...not fake Charlie Sheen winning (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pipTwjwrQYQ)0

Yes, you are right. I did take measurements, and even tho the inches have not changed I have gone up a notch in my belt when I wear my jeans. And my legs do feel firmer from all the working out. So thanks for the reminder that I am "Duh, winning!"0
