Healthy calories?

As I plan out my next day ahead of time I'm wondering if anyone knows of yummy healthy calories that have a lot of calories in them? I eat my workout calories for the most part so this is why i ask..

    hmmm something yummy and healthy calories....do you like trail mix?I found this pretty good trail mix at walmart..its called great valu tropical fruit and nut mix...got a lot of fiber,carbs,healthy fats,and some protein...

    On my page in my blogs i actually put a high calorie reciepe for a protein berry smoothie

    avocado..they have good fat...and are a high calorie food!

    Almonds... or any nut you like.
    Banana (high cal for fruits at least)
    Egg, great source of protein

    I second the avocado-yogurt is really good too...greek yogurt has lotsa protein too! Try Chobani. Wild and brown rice...yummy too! Try fruit smoothies (homemade with FF yogurt, fresh fruit and some crystal light to liquify! Protein powder can be added too if you like).
  • wow all these are great suggestions :) I am having almonds today and definitely have greek yogurt (except i'm out right now :( grocery shopping on friday!!) however I prefer Yoplait Greek X2 yogurt, if anyone does not like chobani try that!!!


    Avocado...now this is my question....I tried avocado once and it just gets so gross so quickly. I just want like one or two slices not the whole thing...any suggestions on keeping it fresh?

    Well if you keep the pit in the avocado it helps keep it from browning too quick..and also lemon juice helps too(splash a bit on it)...
