Does grocery shopping count as walking. I hate it soooo bad, I think it should count as walking!

    Personally I don't include anything now that I did normally before. I figure that if it was really a help to me before I wouldn't need to be on this site. Normal wasn't enough - I have to go above and beyond what I view as normal.

    I think its a personal choice, and I choose not to make anything count that is just part of my regular way of going about my life.

    With all the stopping to pick things out it would be hard to justify it as walking for exercise. We walk a bunch in our lives already, that's part of how we burn our base number of calories. Unless you are walking a steady 2 mph or faster for at least 10 minutes, you probably shouldn't count it.
