In time they will fade a little. You can try bio-oil.. it helped my big scars after a surgery. Also, I'm on birth control primarily for the anti-acne benefits.. "Yaz" is a brand that has a dual-purpose for acne :flowerforyou:0

try a specialized facial, or maybe Proavtive? Or Nuetrogena? Heard good reviews on both. Also do some research on the net see what you get back for answers:flowerforyou:0

I have pro-active now which cleared up what I did have. But I have the scars right around my mouth and from afar it looks like i have pimples. And it's annoying LOL0 -
Natural & THE BEST= 100% Pure Tea Tree Oil!!! After cleansing your face at night, take a cotton wool and dampen it with water. Next pour a 1-3 drops of tea tree oil in it and dab it on your scars. It might burn initially- please be warned! I followed this for 2-3 months and my face is scar free now
I don't even get any new pimples, unless it is TOM! For daytime use, I bought Grease Lightning from LUSH.

I have to totally disagree!!! This stuff is known to dry out your skin big time(which is why it burns, as you mentioned). This results in your body producing more oil to compensate, and thus you get pimples. Additionally, moist/supple skin heals scars better than dry brittle skin does. I know every person's skin is different, but this is just my (and a couple friends') experiences with it. I'll take a couple temporary scars rather than scaly, peeling skin! Beware! :frown: :sad:0 -
What about AHA's? Only use at night tho, it might cause sun burn if you put it on during the day. Walgreens has a version.0

It depend heavily on the kind of scars you have.
If they are red, flat, pigmentation scar then try going for a chemical peel, a series of professional microdermabrasion treatments and use mederma gel twice a day for at least 6 months.
If they are "craters" then the treatments can be much more serious...you can get injection fillers (depending on how deep they are) or you can get the fractional laser treatment which is extremely expensive and has downtime for healing (which is quite the demanding process). Microdermabarasion also helps for small, superficial scars because it evens the skin tone and takes off the first layer of dead skin.
I have some small scarring as well as a few pigmentation scars and microdermabrasion, at-home exfoliation, and mederma has worked well for me. If your scars are more serious, see a dermatologist. Good luck!!! I know how emotionally trying these scars can be and hope you find a good solutions :-)0 -
oh, and take 3,000 mg of QUALITY fish oil everyday (Nordic Naturals is my brand) as well as eating 100% of your vitamin A. Those are both excellent for the skin :-)0
