                    I have a small cisis.
So, in November I was in a car accident and my knees hit the dashboard of the car (it was a Beetle...small car). They were bruised and tender so my doctor told me to take a couple weeks off of training and since I wasn't sore I didn't bother with physio. My knees never felt quite right but were never painful so I haven't thought much of it.
Until now.
Holy toledo! I have a flipping LUMP just to the right and underneath my kneecap and it hurts when i really bend my knees (like playing on the floor with my kids). I was doing Insanity but I always try to keep correct form so I don't think that is what caused this. In any event, I am going to quit and see the doctor and go from there.
In the meantime, what can I do? I was thinking of starting Chalean Extreme on Monday with the doctor's ok. I have GOALS and I don't just want to be a lump on a bump!
Totally hate the drunk that hit me right now.

I'd do upper body weights and maybe some boxing drills for cardio until you know what the doctor says for the knee. You can also do some swimming and such until you are cleared to do more with the knee. After the doctor tells you what is going on then you can determine what you can start doing with your knee.0

Not a physio... Sorry to hear about your injury. And that drunk deserves much worse than he likely got.
I'd see a sports Doc if you can before you resume any running or higher impact activity which would make it that much worse.
A lump under your knee cap could be a wide variety of things I wouldn't want to speculate on. At the very least I'd get Xrays to make sure something isn't seriously wrong. November was 5 months ago.0
