.... until you've tried to eat a pork chop with compostable flatware. I guess I need to bring my own silverware to work.

Don't try it with steak, either.

  OMG - so funny! I immediately thought - that wouldn't happen w/ my handy bamboo cutlery set, till I realized the knife is too dull to work on a pork chop!

Not so much a pork chop but is why I want a steak bellering and bleeding when I stick a fork into it. :glasses:

The other day I tried to mash up some canned tuna with one of these forks and I bent the fork. :grumble:

I finally started bringing real silverware in my brown bag lunch because I bit into too many broken plastic tines. You need to invest in a cheap set - or a really cool swiss army knife with the silverware option.

Well Actually...I recently flung a piece of cornbeef with my plastic fork when I was trying to cut it at work and Bam! Flew five feet in front of me.

LOL. Reminds me of the time we went to the Eden Project (UK MFPers will know it), and had lunch in the cafe. The knives and forks were recyclable - the whole meal tasted of wood, ugh!!
