I need to fit waaaay more fruits and veggies into my daily diet. All I eat now is the usual apple and an occasional afternoon banana. I'm going to the grocery store on my lunch break. What are some fruit and veggies that I can get that dont really need much peperation since ill be eating them at my desk?
I know carrots are easy. I wanna try some new stuff too.

I get the little oranges called cuties. They are super easy to peel and they are really yummy! Grapes are easy too. For veggies just get some broccoli and cauliflower for an easy snack.0

I always keep a HUGE bag of baby carrots at work with a pack of 90 cal light veggies dips. Also other good fruits are kiwis and clementines0

When eating at my desk, I have to worry about being loud, so carrots and apples are out of the question. I like grapes, strawberries, and bananas, personally. I have a coworker who eats bell pepper slices with light ranch.0

I'd be careful with a lot of fruit. I know they have vitamins and all that stuff, but they are still a lot of sugar. See if you can steer more towards the lower sugar fruits, like berries (which I've had some AWESOME black, rasp, and strawberries lately), and veggies.
Raw pepper slices are a new fav of mine. Like others said, broccoli, carrots, celery, tomatoes...what about a low cal coleslaw for the cabbage? Zucchini sticks
Jicama is something you can eat raw. Seaweed salad (like they have at sushi places).
You can also sneak veggies into other places, like kale in soups and pastas, sauteed spinach side dish.0 -
In addition to buying fresh fruit I like buying frozen fruit like berries and peaches because then I always have them around and don't have to worry about not having fruit when I can't make it to the grocery store every week to get fresh stuff. They're super good in oatmeal and yogurt or just plain as a sweet frozen treat. I make two packets of plain instant oatmeal and put a handful of frozen blueberries and take it to class with me. By the time I get there the berries are unfrozen and it so yummy!0
