Hello to all the lovely ladies out there (sorry guys - ladies only :) ! I'm starting a new challenge for myself - who is in? The goal is to lose weight, get in shape, and give yourself a beauty makeover this April!!

Rules:
- Take a picture of yourself for your own records.
- Determine what you will change and post it.
- Post your current weight and your goal for April.
- Take an "after" picture to compare!

My Goals:
- Lose 10 lbs (Current weight 123 Goal weigh: 113)
- Whiten my teeth with my Crest Whitestrips (Which I have been avoiding!).
- Get a fresh haircut and maybe a few highlights
- Exfoliate my skin at least once a week.
- Use a Loreal self-tanning creme
- Do my own Mani/Pedi

Let's stick together and motivate each other. We can remind each other how great our "after" picture will look if we stick to it!

I have an added incentive- I'm going to see a woman who told me I've "gained weight" in front of many friends and family last year (which I did, but still - how rude, lol!). I see her in about one month, and I would love to walk in with the new, more confident me :) Plus I want to look great for myself and my hubby. He is too kind!

Please - no unhealthy behavior. Please set goals which are healthy for your body. I am short and 113 is a moderate weight for me. Set your goals as you see fit.

Let's do this, ladies!!! Are you excited!!!??

I have some parties and get togethers coming up and it would be great if we can support each other through the tough times!

113...do u mind if I ask how tall you are
I just can't imagine that weight on anyone....and to think you were pg?

anyway, i think setting realistic goals is a great idea and I am IN

    My goals
Shed 10 pounds-ish (have avoided the scale for a mnth so not sure exact weight...but would love to be 128 again)
Keep up on getting mani/pedi every 2 weeks
    Try spray tan/bronzer
Get reflexology treatment with gift card I have been holding on to forever

Yay! I'm so excited! I am going to take my "before" picture tonight. One body shot, one close up. I can't wait to compare it to the "after".
Just think of how good you'll feel starting your summer off on the right foot! I wanna healthy, clean, and fresh!

Thank you for your concern :) I am well within a normal/healthy BMI even at 108 :) I have a very tiny frame on top of being short!
I don't know what you mean by pg. Pregnant? No, I've never been pregnant.
    Thank you :)

Day 1 everyone!!! I took my "before" pics last night. Worse than I thought, lol!

I'm looking forward to making healthy changes :) I have been very good today. Lots of protein and veggies plus some carbs and fat (moderate)

I need to make a haircut appt somewhere (I'll work on that tomorrow) I need some new conditioner - maybe I'll try Olive Oil since it's a lot cheaper than expensive conditioner. I'm adding a weekly hair treatment on Thursday nights to my goal list.

I plan on starting my Crest White Strips tomorrow afternoon. Exfoliation on Fridays and Wednesdays & Sundays.

In addition to this makeover, I want to be more organized around the house. It's an overall spring cleaning!!

    How are you ladies doing??

My challenge this weekend is a brunch party. Wish me luck! I LOVE breakfast food, but I figure I can have coffee, eggs, fruit and some toast.

Take care & have a great evening!

I'll do it. I am really low on extra $ so I will have to think about what I want to do that is pretty inexpensive.

That's a great idea! Maybe you'll even end up saving money on certain kinds of food :) Where there's a will, there's a way!

I've done ok so far today. I did have some unhealthy food b/c I was afraid of eating something worse - a lot of sugar free pudding (I shouldn't have had the aspartame :P too many chemicals) and about 8 baked, lightweight cookies. I did exercise (walk 1 mile) and exfoliate though. And I'm planning on using the whitestrips tonight. Continuing to move forward!!! Come on ladies, surprise yourself with your "after" pictures! I didn't have a perfect performance today, but that doesn't mean I can give up. I am starting fresh and moving forward on the road to success!

I think what I have decided to do is:
    1. Take better care of my nails and cuticles. I picked all my nails off tonight on my 5 hour drive. :( They grow pretty fast though so should look really good by the end of the month.

    2. Get some kind of tanning lotion. I'm tired of being Casper the Ghost white.

    3. Order Power90..which is the beginner version of P90x.

I will weigh tomorrow morning. I hope I can lose at least a pound a week, although more than that would be great.

    Go Shallo - Awesome!!!

I am doing pretty good, though I overate a little over the weekend.

I need to exercise today. Had a healthy b-fast, and a healthy lunch. Will snack on an apple and tea in the afternoon, and have a salad w/protein for dinner. possibly some soup. I am trying to stick to 1500 cals.

    :) Yay to the makeover!!!

    This.

Yes, please join us!! To be honest, I'm starting fresh again today. I fell of the bandwagon. I need all the support I can get.
I've had fruit this morning with some coffee, and I'm hoping to have some good, clean healthy food for lunch and dinner. I have GOT to get rid of my nightly dessert addiction!!! I cut up a bunch of veggies for snacks. It's only April 8th, so there are still 23 days until the month is over. That's enough time for some change. I want to workout, use my crest whitestrips today, condition my hair and exfoliate. I have to stop being lazy.
Join me :) We can share our success stories at the end of the month :)
