Kettle Bell Workout

I have been doing a kettlebell workout a few times a week to change up my routine. I have researched on the internet and it says it can burn 20 cals a minute. How many calories does it really burn? Anybody know? I did 50 minutes of intense kettlebell training today and I sure felt like I burned 1000 cals.

It totally depends. You should use a heart rate monitor for an accurate number for your workouts. I know that I burn 500-600 calories an hour (I'm 250 lbs, 5'9").0

Well, I think it all depends on the weight of the bell you use, and what specific moves you are doing. I just started doing kbell workouts this week, and I know my first one didn't feel like much, but then again I'm only using a 10 lb weight and the moves I'm doing are put together to ease me in. But I have seen vids of people doing intense workouts with them, and I could believe that it could burn upwards of 500 cal/hour.0

The 5lb kettlebell I purchased came with a workout video. With the warm up, workouts 1,2,3, and the cooldown, it takes about 50 mintues. Even though I tracked my calories burned as a lot, I dont intend on eating that extra 1000. I guess I will keep on and see if I see results on the scales and my body. Just starting to track progress and keep a food diary so I will see.0

I don't know how much cals I burn with kbell, but I know I work out my whole body.
You should search you tube and see some of the vids there for kbell work out. I do Amy Bento's kbell workouts and Jillian Michaels Shred it with weights.0 -
