HI all-
THinking about starting the P90X.
I also run and do zumba right now, and would love to keep them going, How would I combine P90X and my usual cardio?
When would I do my cardio?

I also have recently started doing P90X and also run and do Zumba(R). My schedule is as follows:
Mondays- P90X Back & Chest Workout w/ Ab Ripper X & Zumba(R)
Tuesdays- Run (Interval Training)
Wednesday- P90X Shoulders, Biceps & Triceps & Zumba(R)
Thursdays- Tempo Mid-Distance Run
Fridays- P90X Legs & Back w/Ab Ripper X & Cycle
Saturdays- rest, leisure activity, or P90X stretch DVD
Sundays- Long Distance Run
I don't usually do the P90X cardio DVDs as I do Zumba(R) and run for my cardio. I'm quite pleased with this routine and allows me to do the strength training with P90X but get my cardio in the ways that I like.0 -
Thank you! That was most helpful. I run 4 days a week, and do zumba once a week, your schedule gives me an idea of how to tailor it to my routine.

How do you log P(90X on MFP?
Nimmi0 -
I log the P90X results on MFP in both the cardio and strength training portions of the exercise tracker. For some reason, MFP does not associate calorie burn with the strength training exercises, but rather just allows you to track progress, so it is best to enter your information in both places.
On a side note, there is an application for iPhone/iTouch called CT90 CE that is PERFECT for tracking your P90X workouts so you never have to worry about writing everything down, it is all in the app for you you, you just enter your weight and reps.0
