Pepperidge Farms light breads are good (I use the white or the soft wheat). The slices are a little smaller and thinner than "regular" bread, but they are moist and tasty. Some light breads are dry because they reduce the fat content too much. Just be careful if you toast it....because they are thin, they tend to burn easily!
  • schebels has a light white bread that is only 35 calories per slice
  • Weight Watchers Whole Wheat bread is great - similar to Pepperidge Farms in size (smaller slices and thinner but not too thin). I eat it all the time for everything and it toasts up nicely.
  • Country Hearth Light Wheat is 40 cal per slice, Nature's Own Light Wheat 40 cal/slice - there is another I like - can't remember name - another favorite is the Thomas's Light English muffins - 100 calories - but I want to smother them in butter - so stick to the spray kind!

I agree with Weight Watchers. But I haven't really looked at any other breads. I used it cuz its only 2 points for two slices which is like 100 calories for two slices. The bread IS thin but I like it that way so I can taste the meat and veggies, cheese, etc.
  • Also, there is a 100% Whole Wheat Bread called Healthy Life, and it is only 35 calories per slice. 1 point for 2 slices! YEAH!
  • Brownberry has a nice low carb multigrain bread. It's sixty calories and the same serving size as regular bread. The one downside... it tastes like low carb bread.
