I'm Nikki, and I've joined MFP after gaining back all 20 pounds that I lost in WW 2 years ago - argh!
I was looking for a free, relatively easy way to keep track of my calorie intake and my exercise, and with my new smart phone, I can easily keep track of everything. I'm having to make some adjustments (realistically speaking, I am NOT going to only eat 1200 calories a day), but I think even the act of tracking everything will make a difference,
WW was never a great system for me - I always "plateaued" at 150, and although that's not a bad weight for me, 135-140 looks and feels better to me. I think the information I've already read on this site will be a huge help for me.
My goal is to lose 1-2 pounds a week, and get down to 135ish by my birthday (October 30).

Hi Nikki,
That's a great goal and very attainable if you stick with it. Start making some friends on here and stay active both in your everyday life and on the boards. You will find both are helpful in losing the weight.
