7-week challenge WEEK 6 challenge details/weigh-ins

I'm soooo sorry that this is getting out so late! I won't hold today against you! And I'm adding a day. Weigh-ins won't be due until Sunday this week. I'm still not sure how every team is doing or how many people are still in this so if you are still in this group please reply to the next topic I will be posting here in a few minutes!
Week 6 challenge:
Give up 1 trigger food this week!
If you have a food that is so irresistable that you can't help but scarve down seconds or thirds, SKIP IT!
For this challenge just put yes or no at the end of the week of whether or not you went without the food of your choosing. Just pick one food (Brownies, ice cream, potato chips, etc.) whatever makes you turn into a grizzly bear!
Stay in this everyone! You are all doing great! My progress is non-existent right now seeing as I'm now on two different antibiotics: one for a kidney infection and one for pleuritic chest pain. So even though I'm not working out, hopefully I can get better with my eating. two weeks left! Give it your all! Love you all!

ooh good challenge!! my trigger food is definitely brownies! especially after dinner - i can NEVER have just one. usually i end up eating too many and feel like crap!
so NO brownies for me this week.
last week i weighed 157, so my goal for Sunday is 156. good luck everyone!0 -

Well, darn! I don't know if I should do another challenge like this or not!
The first week challenge was to stay away from chocolate. I did just fine, as I seldom have chocolate. But after that week was over I started having chocolate ice cream every night!!!

mmm I don't normally eat any junk food - but I'll stop picking at E's sweets when she offers.0

No Girl Scout Cookies for me this week. I bought 3 boxes before I joined MFP and now they're sitting on my shelf taunting me.0

It's gonna be biscuits (or cookies for the Americans :P) I'm giving up this week. Had one yesterday but I wasn't aware of the challenge so now that I am; it's Operation: Biscuit Avoidance time!0

Oooo this is a hard one for me as I have given up all my 'trigger foods' for lent anyway and have managed to stick to it. So this week I am going to give up my last remaining treat.... not food but it does sometimes trigger to grab a late night snack..... this week I am giving up my precious vodka and diet coke
So glad challenge is still going, thought everyone had disappeared!0 -
We all know that Easter candy is now out.............that is my total weakness. I will stay away from the Eggs.0

I've omitted most of my food too, but I do crave at weekends, crisps on and a bacon sarnie on a saturday morning so i'll abstain from that.
I've started my zumba wii this week so i'm hoping that it will give my body a good kicking.
My goal will still be 138lbs0 -
Well, I have cut out all of the "bad" foods....pizza, cookies, chips, candy, soda, etc. I dont' have anything left to cut out as my daily diet consists of whole grains, veggies, fruit, shakeology, and lean proteins. So, I guess as long as I don't falter this week, I am good to go!
My goal weight this week is going to be a little more of a challenge....it's "That" week...so I seem to have put on 2 pounds overnight! lol Drinking LOTS of water today to try to counteract that....we will see how the week goes.0 -
Oh...no York Peppermint Patties during this PMS week. That will be a challenge, but I'm up for it. I need to have a really good week, because I'm going to be in Vegas next week for week 7. Not very good timing on my part!0

Ohh my trigger food...not really food is gumballs! Double Bubble Gum Balls...only 10 calories but they add up over the week. So no gumballs for me!0

Still in this, though it's been the week from hell. I missed the challenge posting somehow. I would have said tortilla chips. They're not what I crave the most, but once I get going, it's hard to stop. I got into them once this week, but I WAS a good girl, and put them away after only TWO servings!
But the good news is, I broke a plateau and lost a lb! I'll put my details into my team thread. Going for another lb this week.0 -
I've been looking for this post everywhere! Well, good thing I gave up my fave thing this week even before I saw this! For me it's diet soda!!! I drink it and then I want more and more and then I even get a sweet tooth and want other things as well! So this week I gave it up for another challenge but it's perfect for this one as well!0

I'm weighing in at 159.8 from 160. At least its something! I made a batch of homemade cookies for a friend this week so of course I had one and that was my trigger food. But I only had one!0

I had no bisuits, so the challenge went well.
Bit disappointed given that I tried really hard last week, but trying to console myself with the idea that losing 0.5lbs is still losing, so that's all good. Not expecting much this week though as I had a terrible weekend involving cocktails and eating out twice, and I will have little to no opportunity to hit the gym this week, so I'm simply setting my Week 7 goal as 173. Not gonna make the 10lbs weight loss, but any weight loss is good by me!0 -
my goal was 156, and i was 156.8, so I only lost .2 lbs. but at least i didn't gain!
i'll put my goal for the final week at 155.0 and really push it this week!
oh - and didn't have ANY brownies - success!0 -

Most of team UK still weighed in on Saturday morning and I have just been slack in posting the results.
Stacebob lost 0.5 pounds, now 173.5, goal next week 173, 6lbs lost so far in this challenge
Sylvia lost 2 pounds to meet her goal weight of 138! Loss so far 5lbs
Eviesmum liost 2 pounds so now weighs 133, goal next week 131, lost 10 pounds so far
Boooie lost 3 pounds, now 161 and has lost a whooping 14 pounds during this challenge
Nikkiiws (me) lost 1 pound, now 156, goal next wk is 155, I have lost 11 pounds during the challenge
We seem to have lost Zeeba this week, will check whether she is still in.

Weighed 178.4 yesterday, sorry spaced on posting here! My goal was 178....so I was short....but considering I had gained 2 pounds overnight at the beginning of the challenge I am happy. Plus I lost 1 inch on my waist! So, good things are still happening!
My goal for next week is going to be 177. It's getting tough to reach my original goal of 175....but as long as I keep getting closer each week I am happy!
And I was good about not eating any bad foods or trigger foods.0 -
