I invented this recipe for a quick and easy dinner. Hope you like it.

1 box Whole Wheat Pasta
1 onion
2 - 4 Bell Peppers
1 pound chicken sausage
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp salt
Cooking Spray

1, Spray a skillet with cooking spray, chop the onion into small pieces, sautee until brown
2. Boil water and cook pasta according to directions on box. Add olive oil and salt if desired to prevent sticking.
3. Chop peppers and add to skillet.
4. Add chicken sausage to skillet cook thoroughly.

When pasta is finished and drained, add mix of caramelized onions peppers and cooked sausage. Toss.

Makes 6 servings.

Wow I just ate something very similar to this for tonights except I didn't use sausage. Instead I just used bell peppers, onions and I topped it with a little Reduced Fat Feta Cheese.

    Thanks for the twist!

Our favorite is Al Fresco, but we have also had Aidells and Nature's Promise (Stop & Shop Generic Organic Brand).
