Wow that sounds yummy!!! - the baked apples & pears
  • Okay I made this tonight-- I used 1 gala apple- peeled. Sprinkled w/cinnamon & splenda - wrapped in foil & baked at 375 for about 35 mins. unwrapped it and added 1/2 cup blue bell no sugar added low fat vanilla ice cream & let it start to melt on top of the apples. All I have to say is YUM!!! It was ALMOST like home made apple pie alamode! And for only 60 cal apple + 100 cal for the ice cream, DELICIOUS!! Thanks for this great recipe!!

I have that sweet tooth problem too. I don't have any tips on treating it. I just go ahead and eat the sweets, and try to be sure my calories allow for it. If I were to say no to my favorite sweets, I would feel frustrated about it and eat more than I needed. No deprivation here. Yeah, that's not the good advice you can get out there, but it's what I do.
