Hi,

I want to start P90x but the problem is that I will be traveling so I can't carry around weights and all that...

What equipment is absolutely necessary? Will I be able to complete it with just resistance bands + yoga mat + yoga block?

thanks!

You can probaly hang the bands up somewhere for when you have to do the pull-up portion, besides that sounds like you are set.

Yes! resistance bands work just as good as the weights... I couldn't use them though because of a shoulder injury - but my husband did and actually liked them better. Good luck on P90X!!!

Yes, resistance bands, a mat, and a yoga block with be enough. You'll have to find a way to do the pullup excersise using the resistance bands. I also suggest a HR monitor.
  • I have found that you can do it with the bands...when you do back you will need something up high to connect the bands to...but everything else the bands were great for... I am on my 4th week of p 90...so far that is my experience..good luck!
  • yeah sounds like you are set just that some of the workouts will require more (like heavier weights) so you need to make sure to set those bands in a secure and sturdy spot :D....don't forget your heart monitor! lol

    thanks!

    which HRM are the best?
  • I own a Polar Electro Polar Heart Rate Monitor and its work fine not too complicated to set up and has large numbers, so its not hard to take a quick glance and check out where you're at when you workout
