I tend to feel sick in the stomach every now and again but not just when eating food, I also tend to throw up if I try and have coco pops or milk shakes, it's been like this on and off since last June, I am waiting for my next doctors appointment so that I can ask them about it, it's very annoying and I don't like been this way.

Sometimes I can feel sick when I'm hungry, so even if I've had my calorie allowance for the day I will have a cracker with a drink of water to stop me feeling pukey. Someone once told me it could be to do with low blood sugar?

Definitely see your doctor and maybe review your calorie intake, you might be eating too few calories to sustain your bodies energy needs. As for the milk and cocopops, any chance you had a bad one off experience with it thats influencing what you feel now?

It maybe something irritating your stomach, I cant have a multivitamin, painkillers, antibiotics, coffee, tea, no added sugar squah, fruit juice, any fruit, anything slightly acidic or thats it I'm in the bathroom for the next hour being sick. I found oats or porridge worked for me and after having that for a while i have built up to 2 slices toast and a glass of milk and then 20-30mins later some tinned fruit. But even now and then if i feel ill I will still have a bowl of oats as the toast could set me off. So it could be anything... But fingers crossed the doctor will be able to tell you what it is and you sort it out soon.

Yeah I will, yeah maybe, I have tried to have coco pops and milk shakes a few times and have been sick pretty much straight away.

I don't know maybe, how do I find out?
  • This may be unrelated to your experience, but here's how my hunger usually works.

First stage: Slight and pleasant ache. Reminds me that I've not had a lot of food yet and can still indulge.
Second stage: Gnawing ache, burrowing into my middle. Feel a little weak.
Third stage: Violently and without warning, deep nausea. I feel physically that if I bent over and coughed, I would retch violently.

These occur sometimes in no particular order, or sometimes skip sensations. I HATE that last feeling. It happens sometimes when I have forgotten to pack lunch (I don't have any money really so I often go without food until I get home) and it lasts usually about five minutes before going away. I've never thrown up from it, but I feel like the last thing I can do is eat. I force some food in though, and it dissipates.

Is your experience at all similar? If it is, then its a hunger thing. If not, then I guess its something else?

Nope mine isn't like that at all, though I wish it was.

I assume you have milk with the coco pops? So maybe your allegic to dairy? How do you feel after eating cheese or yogurts?

Not necessarily started sooner. People become allergic for all sorts of reasons through life and can start randomly. Hope you get things sorted :flowerforyou:
