Alright, I'm starting to train for Susan G. Komen 5K Race for the Cure run in August... I would LOVE LOVE LOVE it if I could find someone that lives close to me that would be willing to run/walk with me every week night.

    Wish I were closer! I live 45min north of the city. My sister and I started working out in Sept of last year and in January I made it a resolution to do a 5k this year. Since then, she has slacked off on exercise and her nutrition which has left me alone to just do the workouts to my best ability and continue to shed the pounds......but at this pace, looks like 5k is our :ohwell:

    Megan -- I can't do a walk/run yet -- I can't eat enough calories to train for something like that. I would be interested in getting together and walking or something...I live in South KC -- Off 435 and Holmes...let me know if we can meet up some time.
