I've only been at this for a month, eating 1200 calories + calories burned by exercise. I don't expect to drop this weight quickly, but I'd at least like to see it drop some. I've been doing the 30 Day Shred and seem to have lost a couple inches, but gained a few pounds. Don't get me wrong, losing inches is all good and well, but I want to see these numbers eventually go down too. So, out of curiosity... (especially from those who only have about 20-30 pounds to lose)...

What do YOU do to lose weight?

ex.) Dvd's, length of exercise, foods, etc. All tips are welcome and appreciated.

i upped my cals from 1200 + exercise to 1475 plus exercise..they say muscle weighs more than fat, so while losing inches, your weight can go up or stay the same ( i deal with this at least once a week ) but i use ea sports active 2 for wii..it burns off many cals fast..best of luck

I recently added a weighted vest and ankle weights I wear while doing my entire routine whether it be a strength training routine or Cardio... I was stuck at a plateau... I had only lost 10lbs. and I was stuck already.. so I added the weight back on (kinda took the concept from Biggest Loser when they add the weight they lost and run around the track to see what progress they had made with the extra weight gone) ... I am wearing now about 15lbs. for my vest and 5lbs. each around my ankles.. so I actually added 15lbs. from my original weight... The burn is INTENSE and the Cardio is AMAZING.. and honey you'll sweat those calories off like a pig!! I have been doing this now since, Um, last Friday... and already down 4lbs.!!! It's worth a shot!

Good suggestions, thanks :). I'm going to try upping my calories first and see how that works out.
