Hey all. I'm ShellyPoo7.....new to the MyFitnessPal. Originally from DC, but currently residing in VA. 38 years old!
I have been struggling with weight loss off and on since 2002. I gave birth to a baby girl in February 2010 and it's been a hard battle since then to get below 185lbs. I want to be around 165-170lbs - that would be ideal for me. With a 1 year old, I want to be able to keep up with her and I'm currently struggling.
I don't have energy, patience or time to do much outside the necessities in life. I'd love to lose some of this weight so that I can feel more lively, happy and content with myself. I refuse to buy more clothes at this size.
Any support offered would be greatly appreciated!

If you are looking to do a good calorie burn in a very short amount of time, you might look into jumping rope. It burns a ton! 10 minutes is all you need.

This website is great
Just lower your caloric intake and increase your exercise and keep track of it. This website makes it so easy to keep track of everything. I have really enjoyed it. And it keeps you accountable too.
I am not sure how often you are able to take the baby for a walk, but I am sure that will help. You both will get to get out and enjoy some time together

Thanks to everyone for the inspirational comments! I'm going to try my best to use this site as a motivation in losing this weight. I've been losing the battle for 9 years now. It's time to step up and get it off for good!0
