What have you been doing so far? How long have you been doing it? If you could provide more info about your eating and exercise program it will help people give advice0

Plateaus are caused by a few things:
1) not eating enough
2) not adjusting your cals properly
3) not taking correct count of cals.
4) body had adjusted
Breaking through a plateau:
1) zig zagging cals properly
2) shocking the body with a cheat day
3) changing workout routines.0 -

I asked the same thing a few weeks ago and this is what I was told:
Increase my calories. I have slowly increased calories from 1250/day to 1500/day for a 1/2 lb weight loss per week. Then they told me to wait it out a few weeks to allow my body to adjust. That is killing me!!
FINALLY this week the scale moved DOWN 0.6lbs. Nothing earth shattering but I hadn't seem it moving down in a long while.
People also wanted to make sure I was eating back exercise cals which I usually eat back at least some of them.
I guess it's a waiting game to see where I need to make adjustments......
Hopefully some of that helps, although I know it's scary to eat more when trying to lose weight and not wanting to gain back any of those pounds you lost working so hard!0 -
well i count my calories once in a while ..... but i dont eat so much and i do exercise i hour a day i do 30 minutes cardio and pickup weights for another 30 minutes0

Maybe you should start logging everything you eat- you might be surprised at the numbers you get. that could also give you an idea of where you can improve. Maybe you aren't eating enough...0

Tracking your calories once in a while? And don't eat much?
If you're doing all of that, and you really want help to succeed in your goals, you need to:
1) Start tracking your calories routinely. Track everything. If it goes in your mouth, log it.
2) Start tracking your exercise routinely. Track everything. If you work up a sweat, log it.
3) Pay attention to your net calories. Keep it above 1200 calories. www.shouldieatmyexercisecalories.com. Go there. Read. Be enlightened.
4) Drink plenty of water. 8 or more 8 oz glasses a day. If you're working out as much as you say you are, you need to drink more. I suggest another 4 glasses, AT LEAST, per hour of exercise.
5) Not only eat more, like others are saying, but EAT BETTER!0
