I just finished watching "The Biggest Loser" online and I am just in disbelief(Tears would not stop pouring)...I know that all the people left on the Ranch are all awesome and have the best outlook on loosing weight but come on..Courtney..The WORLD wanted her to win and I have never ran across or even seen anyone that has the voice and drive of I can be defeated as her. She will truely be missed but I know she will look SUPER awesome at the end..Now I am really wondering who can I root for..hmm I guess i may role with Rolan..but Irene, Hanna and her sis are wonderful but dont think their weight will allow them to continue on. OH well I absolutely love the show..and can't wait til next week. I know it inspires me ALOT!!

i cried too. i couldn't believe it. it just shows that those darn plateaus are heck to deal with. we need to learn to roll right on through them, and let them win. don't know who i want to win now either.

I couldn't believe she went home! It was horrible! I felt bad for her, but it was obvious that she had everything she needed to be successful at home---and her little at home segment at the end showed she made it through her plateau. I just really wanted to keep watching her complete her journey. ...sigh...

yeah, i was sorry 2 see her go too... when brett upped her calories & (i think) decreased her cardio... i was soooooo hoping that would work... (if it did, i was totally gonna increase my calories too, lol)... i don't really have a favorite on the show (this is my first season watching)... i just like seeing everyone's journey & transformation...

in other news: i'm soooooooooooooooooo sad, that i JUST found out abt jillian michael's & how amazing she is (like a month ago)... & now she's leaving the show :-( *tears*
  • I don't actively watch the Biggest Loser, but I have one of their cookbooks and I have seen the show in the past. I have to say that we need more reality TV shows like this. I despise reality TV and I always have. They are almost all sensationalized examples of overprivileged, spoiled, mentally unstable people who live to feud, bicker, and stereotype Americans. It's an unhealthy addiction we have (I mean, did you see that story about girls getting pregnant to be on Teen Mom!?).

The Biggest Loser is a gem on TV because it highlights a very real (and ignored) epidemic we have in America. We do not eat like our parents or grandparents do, we don't cook as much, and everything is overprocessed and full of sugar and sodium. The Biggest Loser is genuinely a great show because it gives people like us motivation that, if someone as overweight as the contestants are can do it, so can we.

We need to start embracing shows like this that highlight people making positive choices and bettering one another through common decency and hard work, and stop caring about what people like Charlie Sheen are doing.

She can and should inspire millions not only those fighting obesity, but any issues they are dealing with. Her attitude of gratitude is awesome!

I also like the twist at the end...I know they normally talk to America but which one out of all those people ever looked int he camara and tell America to get off that couch and make it happen..She totally Rocks..I know she is going to look Wonderful at the final show..Got to credit her mom(Marci) for placing the seed of that positive spirit into her daughter..

I hadn't watched that show in years and I caught most of the episode the other night and I found myself crying too! She was so amazing - I was totally pissed for her but she took it in stride and was so positive.

I really hope she DOES change the world!

I cried too! I just love Courtney and think her attitude is beyond amazing :) She has come so far and I can't wait to see what she's accomplished by the finale!

I really want Irene, Hannah or Oliva to win it! The girls this season are major power houses! So inspiring!

I just cannot wait until the end to see everyone. That is the best. Courtney is still doing it and like she said-she did 100 lbs on her own with out BL. I was very very sad too. I could not believe it. Fingers crossed for at home prize!!

I have been watching since season 6, and this episode really upset me. Courtney was dealing with something many americans deal with, and people needed to see her break through it. I also was disgusted with the treatment of Brett.

I strongly agree...The thing about Brett was just really crazy...they could have split the others up and gave him someone..The thing about games there is always a twist that you never know of..
