I am finding it fun to find healthy meals. I make my lunch the day before so that I can think about it. I have also found that shopping once a week lets you buy only what you need and no junk food. Today I am making Lemon pepper chicken breast (4oz) steamed peas and carrots 2/3 cups each and for dessert my fav a mini fruit salad.... I am not a huge water drinker so crystal light is a must... all under 500 cal. Oh yea... tomorrow I will be making stuff peppers with lean turkey ground! yummo! I am starting to believe that I will finally someday start to live! It really will get easier!!! I know it will, and i am motivated!!!

I am a huge meal planner. I have such busy days that if I don't do most or all of my cooking on the weekend so I can have left overs all week I pretty much don't have time to cook and eat ...
I got tired of writing my weekly plans out on paper and wasting paper every week that I got a frame (8x10) and printed out a paper that is divided up into days down the side and meals across the top and put that inside the frame and it makes a great dry erase meal planner and it cost me all of about $5 for the frame at ross0 -
I've been once-a-week grocery shopping for over a year now, and buying exactly what we need for the week. It's such a saver for me, money-wise, time-wise, etc.0

Do you have an iPhone. I use Mealboard App - let's me plan meals for a week then automatically generates a shopping list for those meals. Much easier than paper!
I find planning ahead really works, saves me money on shopping too0 -

I will have to look into that. I had tried a couple of apps that you could plan and then get a list generated but I was frustrated with them. I like having my frame in the kitchen with the menu on it for some reason...0 -
i use mfp to plan my meals the night before, for every day... has made everything SO much easier to stick with my plan, and meal prep so much faster...and no last minute entering food after i have already eaten it then freaking out cause i was way over in calories or sodium *LOL*0
