Hello Everyone! My name is Corey. I'm a female and I live in Louisville, Kentucky. I'm in the U.S. Military and since moving here, I have had to adjust to living on my own for the first time, and learning how to cook for myself. I work 12 hours shifts so finding time and energy to workout is extremely difficult. I have gained a lot of weight since being here, and I am now in danger of not meeting the weight requirements for my job. Besides the obvious reasons I need to lose; I have become depressed because I allowed myself to gain all the weight that I worked so hard to lose in basic training.
I currently weigh 173 lbs and my eventual goal is to weigh 155 lbs. I know that isn't a very tough goal, but it seems extremely far away. I am looking for support and accountability to help get through this rough time. I'm very glad to meet you all and to start out on this journey together
respectfully,
Corey

Welcome Corey & thank you for your service! :flowerforyou: Just stay focused and if you have days where you don't do as good as you would have liked just pick back up the next day and start over instead of letting it ruin all your efforts. . .I say this from personal experience! :grumble:0

Hey Corey, 1st let me thank you for your service to our country and for all you do to protect us!!! Next feel free to add me as a friend if you'd like. We can inspire each other. Just because your goal isn't as large as some on here it doesn't make the task any less daunting or difficult. A lb lost is a lb lost, and you have to work just as hard the person trying to lose 50lbs to get rid of it!! Good luck on your successes & like I said friend me if you want!!

Hi Corey!
I'm a military spouse, so I completely understand how the rigors of military life can impact your weight - I swear, my husband almost never has the time to work out! Please feel free to add me as a friend, I'm brand new to this myself - only on day 5! We can support each other from a distance, no matter where we PCS!!
