I have been on blood pressure meds for a couple of years. Yes, I was overweight (obese) and hbp runs in my family. Well I've lost 22 lbs and just took my blood pressure here at home and it was 116/75! I haven't taken my meds for almost two weeks (because I keep forgetting to get the prescription) Now I don't know if I even need the meds!!!
