150 jumping jacks done! Loving this challenge so far0
-
Reporting late;
Day 4 - Completed (yesterday) - jumping jacks were so fun, I actually kept going for 10 minutes extra after.
Day 5 - Completed (today)Even though my dumbbells are only 1kg each, that was really tiring for me. I had to do it in smaller intervals. :P0 -
Day 5 100 tricepts done! Pushed myself to do 100 each arm! I need all the extra help I can get, after all. How's everyone else going?? We can do this!0
-
I'm done with triceps also, and I too did 100 for each arm  Calf lifts are one of my favorites, so I'm looking forward to tomorrow!0
-
Done the triceps curls also. 100 each arm with 15 lbs in each hand. And Yes there was pain. Let us pretend it was the good kind. Even heart rate went up and arms a bit shaky as I type this. Need 4 sets to get those done. Life is good.0
-
Awesome job guys, I'm really happy to hear you're keeping up with these along with me! Not sure I would push myself if I didn't feel someone is "watching" hehe. Ok, off to do some calve lifts!0
-
I'm glad we are all doing this together too! I've been breaking the exercises into smaller sets and doing them throughout the day. It is helping me to realize that I CAN exercise with a little one around....even if it isn't in the same way that I used to exercise before becoming a mommy!!
My calf lifts are done. Most of them were done while I was holding my baby....so with a 15 lb weight
Partcho, I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next!!!!!!0 -
dab, you just made me realized I didn't set a Thursday 100 challenge! The surprise is meant for Friday, 4/8, to celebrate week 1 of April done. (Great job with the calve lifts while holding your baby, rockstar!!)
So... Let's see... What should we all do tomorrow??
How about 100 glute kickbacks? That sounds like fun! And if you're especially "risky" do 100 on each side!
Buns of steel here we come! Here's a cheesy low budget green screen sample:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45YVKSQN88E
See you tomorrow!0 -
Haha....then I can't wait for Friday's surprise
Glute kickbacks sound perfect for tomorrow. Thanks for the video link!0 -
THis seems like an AWESOME challenge!!!! Can I jump in for next week, or should I come in tomorrow? I dont think I can catch up on the days I've missed so far0
-
sundinsgurl, join us whenever you're ready, you're welcome here! Let us know how you're doing when you get a chance, and modify if needed!0
-
Just remembered that calve raises were on deck today. Just got them done, 100 in one go, but it was a good pain. Now to stretch them out a bit:) See ya tomorrow.0
-
100 glute kickbacks down each leg, then added some leg lifts, now pleasantly fatigued (of course I did a 5 k earlier today) legs. They shall get a rest for remainder of the day.
WE shall see what tomorrow brings.
Cheers everyone.0 -

excellent! about to do mine now...0 -
So to mark the completion of our first week of the daily 100 challenge, I figure we give ourselves a treat:
Pick two of this week's exercises, combining them and do 100 reps. For example, do a calve lift then a jumping jack, or, a squat then a tricept curl, or a glute kickback then a push up... If you're feeling extra daring, do 200 reps of these two workouts! I think I might opt for the squat and tricept curl but am not sure yet. Curious to see what you guys are going to choose!
Great job and am ready for another week! Are you??0 -
Glute kickbacks done! I will have to think about which 2 exercises to do tomorrow. I'm thinking my favorite (squats) and my least favorite (push-ups).....but I'll let you all know tomorrow what I decide for sure.
Have a great night!0 -
Haha, that was a bit of a coincidence Partcho. Before reading your reply this morning regarding combo I started doing some strength training at home and so decided to do 100 push ups, followed that with 100 squats, then did 100 calve raises, 100 glute kickbacks and 100 bike curls. Anyway I consider myself done for today:) Although I did forget about the triceps curls.. maybe tonight.
Have an awesome day everyone.0 -
Sorry I haven't been reporting back lately (don't worry, I did them though!). I had to focus on moving heaps of my school stuff back to home for the break
My combination will be .. (unlimited) jumping jacks and (200) squats. I may throw in 50 push ups as a bonus.
WolffEarl - you beast! Awesome effort.
Partcho - would you mind putting a list of all the exercises for week 2 up please?0 -
Ok, here's what I'm thinking for week 2:
4/9 - 100 twisted mountain climbers (do at least 100, but if you can do more, let us know how many you did!)
4/10 - standing, hold one leg up at a 90 degree angle, and do 50 biceps curls - then switch sides and do 50 more (repeat once more, if you can!)
4/11 - 100 seconds holding plank position (let's try to do this 2 or 3 times throughout the day)
4/12 - 100 lunges (each side)
4/13 - 100 military presses
4/14 - 100 reverse crunches
4/15 - ?!?!
Sounds fair enough??0 -

Good! I'm glad to hear you've been keeping up, that's awesome!! I just posted my ideas for week 2, I look forward to it!0 -

Partcho, I thought you liked us! 100 seconds of holding the plank..repeatedly?? Oh the pain. Have you no feeling or mercy at all?0 -
WolffEarl....Incredible!!!!!!
Partcho.... Sounds good for next week.... but I have to look up a couple of those moves, so maybe I don't know what I'm getting myself into LOL
I did 50 pushups and 50 squats today... It was a busy day, so I didn't have time to do any more than that, but at least I got the requirements done0 -
Hi There.
Got those twisted mountain climbers done, in sets of about 25 each with a break of about 2 minutes in between. Did 100 straight mountain climbers first. Once again, the pain was real:) A side benefit of participating in these challenges is that I get to look up a lot of Utube videos on how to actually do these exercises. After first reading the list for this week, I was worried we had to track down some mountain climbers, run them down and then twist him/her a 100 times. I was wrong:) but still hard.0 -
COL!! But that was real, I actually did chuckle out loud! Glad you are having a good time with these! I had some catching up to do yesterday because I failed to do the challenge on Friday (I know, I'm lame), so decided to try to kill myself with some intense abs workouts in addition to the tmc. Good stuff! Today is a fun one, working our balance and strength so that's fun too. I keep saying everything's fun, aren't I? I'm just trying to pump myself up! Have a great day0

In case today's challenge isn't totally clear, here's a video explaining:

Ok, just did today's challenge. I mixed it up a little and did 50 bicept and 50 tricept curls instead of just bicepts. I feel like I can tear down a building with one good punch! Sweetness.
Where is everybody??0 -
Hello there all
Did 100 biceps curls for each arm with 25 lb weights in 4 sets of 25 each. LIfe is good.0 -

Unfortunately, I was bad and skipped the 9th's activity
Day 10 - Completed. Thank gosh I had 1kg weights. I don't think I could have reached 100 with anything heavier, unless I broke them into mini sets.
Day 11 - Saving this for the morning, when I do Day 12. B-b-but 100 seconds for the plank? Oh what fun that'll be .. haha :P0 -
I just tried holding plank for 100 seconds... what was I thinking?? lol! I managed to do it for 56 seconds (i know, only 4 more seconds to at least call it an even minute!). I'm going to try it again in a bit and will hopefully pass the one minute mark. I can't say I don't love this challenge though!0
