BUMP! Congrats to your friend. GREAT JOB!
  • I just TODAY went below 300 pounds to 298.98 and I just started 2-1/2 weeks ago and I've lost 8 pounds. I am ecstatic with that! I think it's reasonable that your friend has lost 15 pounds in what sounds like 6 weeks — that's averaging just a tad over 2 lbs a week and when you have a lot to lose, you're going to lose a bit more in tthe beginning as well and so it sounds like she's doing great!

It's 2.5 lbs a week which isn't bad. Good for her!

thank you. i think she put in a lot of effort. i just thought maybe she would have lost a little more with all the effort and her current size, but wanted to see what others thought.

It's a bit fast really. If she keeps it up she's likely to end up with loose skin, and runs the risk of losing too much muscle. I wish I'd kept my weight loss down to a pound a week.
