I am declaring independence from my weight losing phase this July 4th, 2011!
I started last July 4th. I'm 24 lbs from my goal weight and there are twelve
weeks until my July 4th one year anniversary.
This might be fun, it might be motivating, most importantly if this is right on track exactly
for the progress and time frame you have, join me and together our peer support will get
us all there. To a *very* Happy Fourth of July!
Do you want to work to make 2lbs/week weight loss until we hit 24lbs?
Here are the Monday Weigh-ins. Our starting weigh-in is this Monday, and final
weigh-in is Monday July 4, 2011.

I am not kidding myself, this is a very challenging challenge. For some reason I've
just become totally committed to this, and can really see it. It is going to be a good
thing to complete this challenging goal.
My scale has tenths like 200.8, or 198.2 etc, but is only evens (.0, .2, .4, .6, .8) So, I'll put my tenths down.
You do what you can to be both accurate with the number, and consistent with the Monday weigh-in.
If this is exactly the challenge for you. send an "I'm in" and we'll all meet again on Monday
with our starting weigh-in

I'm in I need some kind of challenge to make me serious and I need to lose just barely more than 2lbs per week to be where I want when I get my septum pierced. (June 3rd, my friend's wedding. I'm a bridesmaid so I'm doing it between the wedding and "reception")0

Nice turnout. This is great. Some questions I've had:
Q how do we get all of our Monday weights together in one place?
A: For this first week I'll direct message everyone and post the compiled
answers in one thread. From then on it should be a little clearer and easier.
Q: Am I out if one of the weeks I do not lose two pounds.
A: No, this is a water off a ducks back type challenge. I want to
do it all twelve weeks. But if one week doesn't happen for me,
on Monday I post my weight again and there is a whole new week
to get my two pounds. No making up the difference. Just hit two pounds
a week from Monday to Monday.
Any other question? Let them fly.0 -
Is it still possible to get in on this?0
