Just wondering what the best free exercise I can do and fit around looking after three children (6month 3and 6) I can't afford the gym and always have at least 2of them with me at all times. I do a lot of walking but always have so don't really feel like im pushing myself as I can walk very fast with baby in the sling and 3year old in pushchair and not get tired. So any new ideas would be great.

Jump rope ($3), push ups, crunches, free videos on youtube and free video podcasts! You can find yoga, pilates, aerobics, all kinds of videos online for free.0

Do you have music TV channels?
Have a a blast and a high energy dance for 15 mins a few times a day - really great fun, and the kids LOVE to join in. I have a music on demand service too so it's a little easier to get appropriate child-friendly music, but some of the channels must be at least mostly dance 'ho' and naughty word free!

My local library actually had a rather large selection of fitness DVDs. I've checked out a couple of the Walk Away the Pounds DVDs (loving that so far)! And I have beginner Zumba and some kind of So You Think You Can Dance DVD on hold to come in soon. So thats an idea you could try (for free!). I walk the dog alot too but it seems like the DVDs keep me motivated to move a little more! Oh also, my local Wal-Mart had several fitness DVDs on clearence last time I went. Hope that helps!0

Try womenshealth.com ... they have several exercise routines that don't require any equipment. I also agree with the dancing suggestion, get the little ones (well the ones that can) involved and just dance and jump around with them, you're burning calories and spending quality time with the little ones. You can also pretend to have a jump rope and jump as if you had one (imagination is always fee)... good luck on your journey!0

does the 3 year old go in the pushchair still?
I sometimes put my two littlest ones in the phil&teds and jog with it through the park.
otherwise id suggest either exercise videos or wii fit0 -
my kids are 6 months, 3 and a half years, and 5 years. I was doing treadmill and putting on a TV show for them, otherwise, other suggestions were good- wii fit; exercise videos; basketball; going to the park and doing push ups/pull ups etc. let the big ones ride bikes and walk fast next to them. Good luck!0

Jump rope, climbing stairs, youtube and check out www.bodyrock.tv, most of her exercises can be adapted, you don't need the sandbag.0

I have 3 at home with me all the time (16 months, 3 1/2, and 5). I find that when I work out at night after they go to bed, it's the easiest. I don't belong to a gym either, so I do things like Turbo Jam and Turbo Fire at home.0

I'm desperately broke and had to cancel my gym membership. I downloaded the 30 day shred. Started the Couch to 5k running plan and I bought a little workout pack off ebay for £5, it included resistance bands, a workout mat, skipping rope and those hand clencher thingys :-)0
