I write this as I make my morning oatmeal because today is a *new* day and I messed up last night but that doesn't mean I can't reach my goals.

I was so proud of myself for allotting calories for wine with dinner last night. We were eating with my husband's parents and I knew there would be plenty to drink. So I had 3 glasses of wine and stayed within my calorie limit. Then I had cake.

I went over my calories for the 1st time in 2 weeks after losing 5+ lbs. I am disappointed in myself, and feeling a little guilty, but shrugging it off. Going to go to the gym today to burn off the extra cals, and starting over with trying to reach my goals today. It is a new day, and those extra cals won't matter in the long run if I stick with this.

Also, how many calories are in advil?

A little treat keeps you sane. Don't sweat the small stuff. It's OK occasionally to have your cake and eat it too. :) Just get back up and dust yourself off :)
