This past November, I ran my 1st 5K in a charity run for a family friend that had cancer (he's in remission now, yay!) and finished with a 59:29 time.

I joined MFP in late January and have since lost 21 lbs.

Today, I ran my 2nd 5K and my time was ***49:30***

That's right. I beat my first time by 9:59. Oh yeah!

That's my woman! Oh yeah!!!! I gotta get better or she'll beat me next time. I did my very first 5 K ever with her this time in 39:57! My goal was somewhere around 40, but I honestly didn't think I would get under!
