What is a healthy range to be under your calorie goal? I know if you eat too little your body will go into starvation mode... but sometimes it is hard to eat my goal, especially days when I spend some time at the gym.

You don't want your net calories to be below 12000

My calories always range from 900-1300 and it's not on purpose!! Before joining I managed to lose 6 lbs in one week. I've never really had a big appetite, but eating lower calorie foods is really making me under my limits. My goal now is too lose weight I'm a healthy way and keep my calories above 1000 every day!0

Liz- Yeah, try never to be under 1200. Best case scenario is to eat all the calories allowed to you based on what you put in to MFP- and even eat back your workout calories. You might need more like a 1400 cal minimum. If you are eating well, working out, and not loosing weight- you will know you need to eat more calories! Love you sis!0

I know what you mean!!! I never go below 1200 normally, but on workout days, there is no way I can eat my calories back. I eat all clean all day, do you know how hard it is to eat 400 calories back in foods like green beans and asparagus, I already feel like I'm eating all day anyway haha! So I definitely know how you feel!! I think if you think you are starting to hit a plateau then try eating more calories some days.0
