It was a bunch of junk, but now I am trying to do as much raw food as I can-spinach, tomatoes, apples, clementines, bell peppers, raw spanish peanuts, etc. I am trying to cut out as much processed food as I can-especially anything white (bread, pasta, sugar).

It is tough but the more raw foods I eat, the more I crave them!
  • - chobani greek yogurt
    - granola
    - peanut butter

cottage cheese, gluten free bread, tons of veggies, fruit, hummus, lean meats, brown rice, string cheese, nuts, 100% natural peanutbutter, Rice noodles, fish, and wine!
  • Any fruit that is available at the store - I like to try different things. Today I got red pears and mangos. Baby carrots are a great snack for when I want something crunchy and I LOVE cucumbers for a snack too. I mix my fruit with yogurt. The Bare Naked cereals are also a must have with Silk Almond milk in Vanilla flavor.

We've all got the same list, it seems. Mine includes almonds, berries of all sorts, any thing whole wheat - bagels, english muffins, bread, brown rice, fresh chicken and ground turkey, frozen fish, yogurt, lactaid skim milk, peanut butter, V8 fusion, eggs, natural lunch meat. I like to look at my basket at the end and see how much is junk and how much isn't. We're trying to ditch the junk!

Organic fruit, grass-fed sirloin, free range chicken breasts (or sometimes thighs if I'm treating myself!), frozen organic veggies, organic low-fat string cheese, raw pistachios, raw creamy almond butter, nonfat greek yogurt, no sugar added strawberry preserves, sulphur-free dried apricots, Ezekiel bread, 1% farm milk, and organic lemon juice to add to water. I always seem to run out of organic onions. We cook with them a LOT.

Trying to make all good stuff!

Mission balance whole wheat tortillas are great for when you need a quick wrap, pita chips (for the humus) trail mix--the bare naked kind is oh so good and aside from what everybody else has.. that's it! Helpful post seeing everybody's stuff-- I'm always looking for new ideas!

You know what else I get for when I need a sweet treat? Nips caramel! They are rich and one usually hits the spot! 30 cals!
