Kale chips

Hi, a few people have asked about making kale chips, so I thought I'd post here. They're yummy, low-fat. High in A and B, and a crunchy alternative to chips.
1 bunch of kale, washed and de-spined
1 tbsp nutritional yeast
1/2 tsp coconut oil, melted (or any oil, really)
1/2 tsp any other spices you want. I use whatever I have on hand, curry, cumin, garlic powder, chili powder or just plain.
Dry the kale thoroughly, then tear into pieces, about the size of half your palm. Massage the oil to coat all the leaves. sprinkle with the yeast and spices. Lay on a slightly greased oven sheet and bake for 45 minutes at 200F. Let cool and enjoy.
Let me know if you have any questions!

you can use kale anywhere you would think to put spinach.
i especially love it in spaghetti sauce, lasagne (as its own layer), on pizza or with eggs.
kale chips are delicious! but get a more robust kale, if you can (dino is great for this!)0 -

Why the yeast?
nutritional yeast is a super low cal alternative to cheese (at least that's how I use it). it actually tastes really good.0 -
