Post Workout Protein Shake

Hi! It seems different brands of Whey protein have different directions. We have 3 in my house, the one I use (with no time instructions, only mixing instructions and variations), anyway, one says to drink immediately after a workout, the other says to drink 30 minutes after a workout.
Anyone know when is the best time to drink PURE WHEY PROTEIN ISOLATE????? This is not a blend.

I'm no expert, but I'll put in my 2 cents based on my understanding of this stuff. After your workouts, there is small window of time when it's best to drink whey. Ideally, you should drink within 30 minutes. I don't think it will make a difference between "immediate" and "30 mins" as long as you have something within 30 mins after your workout. For weightlifters, they should have something sooner because your body needs the protein to rebuild.0

I agree with bt... up to 30 minutes.
I've seen some people say within an hour, but I'd think that may be stretching it.0 -
