worrying throughout dinner

Hey all! Tonight my bf and I went out for suishi. I ordered this tofu dish that is amazing but prob not the best. It is tofu that is baked and fried with mozzarella cheese. IT IS MY FAVORITE and I HAVENT eaten it in over a month and a half. I also ordered edimame with NO salt and a spicy tuna roll. Now I used to eat alot more but that was it for tonight. However, I freaked out all through dinner and even gave some of the tofu pieces to my bf so I wasnt eating it all. I just felt so guilty. Im assuming the meal wasnt THAT bad but all I could think of was how many calories in it was. I even asked the server (who barely spoke English) and looked at me like I was crazy. My bf even rolled his eyes when I asked...but I wanted to know. Unfortunately the guy didnt know and I ate it anyways.... Does anyone else feel this way now? I am not a big girl. I am 5'5 and now weigh 130.5. But I still worried the whole meal and prob wasnt too much fun to be around tonite. Please let me know that I am not the only one that does this.

Try not to worry too much tofu is actually really good for you. Not the best when its fried but still better than other things you could get like french fries0

One meal a week won't kill you. Just log it and know you did it then stay on track the rest of the week0

Aw I worry sometimes about what I'm eating - but don't let your worry spoil your little splurge times. Its okay to splurge sometimes. Just don't do it all the time!0

if I splurge I always worry, but if I am good for the next week it never affects my weigh ins.0

1) Take a deep breath and relax. One meal isn't a big deal. Social eating is a part of life, so unless you plan to eat in a vacuum, you def have to learn to go with the flow a little bit.
2) Waitstaff are NOT going to know the cal content of you meals. Preplanning your faves is key (this way you can enjoy and make room for even if they aren't the healthiest) Here is the Hungry Girl guide to get you started: http://www.hungry-girl.com/newsletters/raw/550
3) The next step is to pick up and move on. Now's the time to look forward and not let guilt get to you. Guilt has no place on this journey to feeling better and being healthier!0 -

You can also search for calorie approximations online- and enter before you go. Next time you can look at it ahead of time and enjoy yourself! (I<3 take out, so I do this often)0
