Another NET calories question...

How close to 1200 NET calories do I need to be every day? I've never, ever eaten my exercise calories back, and as you can tell, I've had some great results. Lately, I've been really hungry though, and I feel like I NEED these calories to just get through my day. I don't know if this is just a phase I'm going through or what, but I tried to eat only 1250 calories today and couldn't do it.

With that being said, if my calorie goal is set at 1200, how close should my NET calories be to 1200? To get exactly 1200 NET calories, I have to eat back every single one of my exercise calories. That's pretty much impossible to be spot on, lol. :) Is 1150 enough? I have a NET of 1188 today after eating 1200, burning 442, and eating back 430.

It sounds like your body's trying to tell you something. I adjusted my calorie goals up after I lost my first twenty pounds, but I eat things that are high in fiber and protein, like baby spinach and sliced fresh pineapple. Also, Original Fiber One is a great filler because it's high in fiber, low in fat and has a low glycemic index. Fifty calories for half a cup.

    Good Luck

Days like today are perfect! As long as you are in the ballpark, you're good. I'd shoot for 1100+ in your situation. Congrats on all the progress you've made! You are doing awesome!

That's exactly what I do and I've seen a consistent loss for a couple weeks now. I also burn about 350-400 calories according to my HRM and eat back most of those calories. I then net to about 1150-1180 every day.

Congratulations on your amazing progress...keep it up!!
