Shred everyday?

I'm on day 8 level one of the shred, while I'm loving/hating it I really would love to tak e day off! But I commited to doing the whole 30 days and will be very disapointed in myself if I dont' do it. I'm also walking 5 days a week and doing aquafit one day a week on top of the shred. I can't give up the walks becuase I'm walking my dog, should I take a day off the Shred or are you supposed to do it straight through?
I haven't lost a single pound but I keep thinking if I just push through it's bound to come off at some point, so do I give it a rest for a day or push on through?

I would suggest giving yourself at least one day off every week. Your body needs that time to rebuild, and it's a good mental break too. Sundays are my off days, and by Friday or Saturday I'm really looking forward to it, but after taking a day off, I'm excited to get back to working out.0

This is where you look deep down and pull out the beast in you and push through it. Determination and focus for those 20 - 25 mins will get you to the end of the 30 days and when you reach that, you will jump out of your skin in excitement cause you did it! Take one deep breathe, press play on the DVD player and own it!
Good luck & God Bless,

A lot of people will probably scream at me for this and say it defeats the object, but I'm not doing the shred everyday. At least not yet anyway.
I've gone from doing 0 exercise to going to an aerobics class once a week and 'shredding' 2-3 times a week.
I may well go back to the beginning and do it all again everyday, but for now it's enough for me.0 -
There is such a thing as over doing it, but I'd try it, push myself, just to see if I can go 30 days and then high five myself with the results.0

I'm on L3 now, and I've been shredding 6 days out of 7. I had meant to go straight through, but there was one Saturday I couldn't and then I found I liked the day break! As for loss, I've only lost 2.5lbs but have lost lots of inches- make sure you're measuring!0

I'm on level 2 right now, so far there has been one day where I couldn't do it because I didnt have the time. I'd say try to do as much as you can but if there's one day you absolutely can't do it then don't beat yourself up over taking a day off. Those extra walks will only help you even more!!0

There ya go!
You know when you over done it. Your body will tell you. Doing a 20 - 25 min workout is not over doing it. Just remember to stretch and warm-up.0 -
I am on Day 6 Level 1 and am feeling the same way. I am determined not to miss a day because I feel that if I do, I will get way off track and think "Well, I can skip a day here...skip a day there..." and next thing you know, I've quit before the end of 30 days. Plus its only 20-25 minutes out of my day, so surely I can find time for that, right?
I don't feel like I'm losing weight OR losing inches...so I'm hoping by Day 20 that I will be seeing some results!0 -
Believe me! You will definitely feel more confident in your losing abilities in this program by level 2! It's pretty intense.0

Yeah I've been wondering if I should take a break too because my left shin and calf are really hurting and I'm only on the 6th day & I also go to the gym every other day.. I told myself I'd take a break every ten days but my friends are suggesting I take more.. hmm..0

I completed day 9 today and so far havn't taken a break. I was considering taking one day off after days 10 and 20 but will see how I feel.0

I'm on Day 8, Level 1 and haven't missed a day yet. I lost 4 lbs doing the first 7 days so that is motivation for me to keep doing it everyday. I think you should stick it out until the 30 days is done.0
