Getting past the Plateau?

Any suggestions?

I might be over thinking it, but I have been the exact same weight for 10 days now.

So I guess it is time to change some stuff up, but honestly, I don't know WHAT to change up.

Exercise frequency?

Exercise type?

Eat more?

Eat less?

Just keep on the same and eventually I will break through it?

Any advice to give?

  • Hi, I read somewhere on MFP that once you reach a plateau with calories start to look at the fat intake. I reduced mine manually in goals and i'm pleased to say it has worked without changing the food around too much. The main thing I have had to do is make sure I don't have chicken and fish on the same day. Worth a try! :-) Good luck.

No matter what---you should be eating 6 times a day. Changing exercise is great to do, plateau or not! You just have to stay faithful and keep plugging along--a true plateau is 2 weeks of no loss whilst staying true to your plan. It will happen--just be patient. This is definitely a test of our wills.

I read your profile! I am a retired Marine and I agree, Once a Marine Always a Marine. But no one told my body that, so here I am. I have been told that you should change up your exercise routine and try something else. Good Luck!
