Torturing myself

Does anyone else ever get on facebook and like stalk people that you wish you looked like? Like, I know this sounds creepy, (but I'm not a creeper. I PROMISE!) but I will get on fb and just look through every summer picture of my friends in swimsuits, just to marvel at how small their bellies are. Maybe that's weird. But does anyone else do this?

I'm not an ax murderer!! Pinky swear!!!

    I'm totally guilty.
this girl I went to high school with has a picture of her standing in the snow in a bikini, and all I can think is, "****, I would freeze to death in the snow to look like that too!"

Unfortantly, and honestly I think everyone does. I hate how all of my friends feel comfortable bout themselves and I feel trapped and embarrsed bout the way I look.
  • to be honest, i do that too. i see a beach picture go up and immediately i look to see how their belly looks. so you're not alone! i think i do it because of my insecurities though, which is not good. i try not to compare myself to others but sometimes it's really hard!:ohwell:

I do it, especially if they've had as many (if not more) kids than I have, because that takes away my excuse...

I'm also a wedding photo junkie, but that's wayyy off topic :)

I do sometimes. There's this girl I used to go to the gym with and I look at her beach pics just so I can compare mine and now that I've lost 90 lbs, I LOOK BETTER THAN SHE DOES STRETCH MARKS AND ALL!!!

    Keep on comparin - I won't tell. :-)

Glad to know I'm not alone. I feel a little sick sometimes when I am forced to compare. Some of the girls I used to go to high school with still look like they did when they were 16! I'm only 23, but still. I don't see how you can make it out of college the same size you were in 11th grade! :noway:
