i have like 600 calories left for the day and almost no sodium. i'm okay with going over by a couple hundred if i HAVE to, but i was wondering if anyone has any awesome high-calorie-low sodium snack ideas.

salt-free trail mix (i.e. salt-free nuts, dried fruit, etc.)
    Full-fat greek yogurt
    A giant piece of steak?
Or you could just eat a regular meal. It'd be healthier and lower sodium than most snack foods.

the problem is i already put in my dinner, which has already been prepared according to the recipe i was given.. if i have another serving, i'll go WAAYYY over my sodium and sill won't get all my calories in. i just found some almonds. i think a couple servings of those might even the playing field a little.

This is terribly weird, but I discovered last night that a few dried, sweetened cranberries go really well with a few dark chocolate roasted almonds (emerald nuts). then again these are things i happened to have in the house, so... also i'd think a simple banana/yogurt/berry smoothie would work.

3 Michelob Amber Bocks would be 498 calories and only 27 mg of sodium. :)

I'd just go ahead and eat a real meal. a little sodium isn't gonna be a big issue. especially if you avoid going over most of the time.
