First day today!

Hi all,
I am new to MyFitnessPal and am currently on my first real day.
I have been presently surprised so far how much food I can eat for my 1200 calories.

I reason I have joined is because I am getting married in February 2012 and I want to lose at least 25kgs (50 pounds?? Sorry I’m not sure about this. I’m from NZ) before the big day. As motivation today I purchased a wedding dress that would only look good if I lose the weight I want and it is currently size too small. I am hoping that it will still have to be taken in heaps!

I graduated last year and had professional photos taken. I promised myself that I would not be embarrassed of my wedding photos.

All my life I was tiny. Then over the last 4 years I learned lots of bad habits and here I am. So now I am re-teaching myself good habits.

So that is my goals.

If anyone else is new and has about the same amount of weight to lose please add me to your friend list. I am looking for support so I don’t feel like I am doing this by myself.
